the Physical form process!

Troop 398 News - May 22

 

NO TROOP MEETING ON MEMORIAL DAY

There will not be a troop meeting, but Dr. Galloway will be giving camp physicals. Mr Warren will also be there if you need a Scoutmaster Conference.

 

SYMPATHY

John Bridgers' father died May 12th. Please keep John and his family in your prayers.

 

BSA SWIM TEST
Mr. Jon Doliana  will be available one more night at the Sports*Com indoor pool at 7:00 PM this Thursday, May 24th.  Please plan to arrive not later than 8:00 PM in order to complete the test before the pool closes at 8:45 PM. Bring $2.00 for admission if you are 17 years old or under. 18 years and up pay $3.00.

 

PHILMONT MEETING

All members of the Philmont contingent will have a meeting at 6:00 pm, this Thursday, May 24th at the Eagle's Nest. We will organize into crews, discuss equipment and travel expenses.

 

SERVICE OPPORTUNITY
If you want to participate in the grave decoration at Stones River National Battlefield, plan to be there at 8:30 am this Saturday, May 26th. Meet at the cemetery flag pole. Look for Mr Horne. Have your parents pick you up at 11:00 am. If yopu can help pick up the flags, be there at 1 pm on Tuesday, May 29th.

 

TROOP COURT OF HONOR
We have changed the date of our Court of Honor to 7:00 pm, Monday, June 4th at the main church. Green horns will be assigned to permanent patrols at that time and we will go over final details for summer Camp. First year campers and parents, please make every effort to attend. Mosquito nets for camp will be available for pick-up after the C/H.

 

SUMMER CAMP  June 10-16.
You cannot go to camp without the proper physical forms. We must turn in physical forms on May 31st to council. The remainder of camp fees are due by May 28th at the latest.
Dr. Galloway will be available to give camp physicals next Monday, May28
