Troop 398 News - Mar 1, 2008

SERVICE OPPORTUNITY
Larry Christley has requested some help.
H.E.A.R.T. or Home Education Association of Rutherford Tennessee is seeking Boy Scouts or a Scout Troop that would be willing to put on a demonstration on Basic First Aid to a group of home school students in March. The demonstration can be on a weekend or during the week, they are flexible. Time limit is flexible but I would target an hour to two hours. They will provide location if need be.  It can be a basic overview of First Aid Required for Second Class and the First Aid Merit Badge. They really would like some hands on activities also. Maybe demonstrate and then let the children demonstrate back.   Would any of you or your boys be interested in assisting? It might make a great service project for service hours in the community as well as lay a foundation for possible future scouts.  Please let me know back as soon as possible if there is interest.
Thanks,  Larry     larry.christley@state.tn.us

SUPER BOWL FUND RAISER
The results are in, we made a little over $3,100 after expenses. Great job, every one!
