NEW SENIOR PATROL LEADER
The members of Troop 398 elected a new SPL Monday night. Congratulations to Michael Daniel!! Show your support for your new SPL by volunteering to serve on his staff for the next six months. SEPTEMBER CAMPOUT CANCELLED
It rarely happens in our troop, but we couldn't put together the adult leadership needed to do the campout this weekend. Our next camp out will be canoeing at Grimes Canoe base October 12-14.

(Remember, 100% of all troop profits are passed on to our scouts! This is a great way to start saving for that once in a lifetime high adventure trip!)

PICKUP DATE: November 17th (Saturday) – Exact pickup times to be announced.
WHAT: This is our annual popcorn sale fundraiser
WHY:

HOW: Show your brochure to everyone.
Ask them to consider making a purchase.
**HINT: Wear your Class A as everyone wants to help a boy scout.**
Be sure to explain your goal and what their money will help support.

In addition to commission for your scout account, everyone that sells at least one item is eligible to receive prizes showcased in the popcorn brochure. There is some really GREAT stuff so pick a prize and GO FOR IT.

2ND ANNUAL 600 CLUB
2nd Annual 600 Club – Every Scout that sell $600 in popcorn will be invited to a special event at Climb Nashville on January 26, 2008, where they will enjoy climbing rock walls and inflatables.
BONUS PRIZES: A credit will be made to the top salesman at each week’s meeting so be sure to bring your sales sheet to each meeting to be eligible.
MORE BONUS PRIZES: The top three overall salesmen will receive a credit to their scout account at the end of the sale.

Fill It Up - Each scout who completely fills up a Take Order form earns a commemorative patch and is eligible to win a weekly Grand Prize. Be sure to see Ms. Ray with your completed form to be eligible.
GOAL: This year our goal is $11,170.50 which is 10% more than last year and will earn us an extra 1% toward commission. Troop “participation goal” is for each Scout to sell 15 units at $15 p/unit.
